Q: I don't want to buy recycled hair, how do I know the hair piece I'm buying isn't someone's old hair piece?
A: Great question! We absolutely never sell recycled hair without your full knowledge up front. Our stock and custom hair pieces are always brand new, never worn. We ONLY sell recycled hair pieces on our discount hair page, and any previously worn hair piece is clearly indicated.
Q: Why would I want to buy a recycled hair piece?
A: Another great question! Quite frankly, you may not want to buy a recycled hair piece at all. On the other hand, our recycled hair pieces are completely sterilized, cleaned, repaired and in like-new condition before we list them on our discount hair page. The best part, we sell them at extremely discounted prices. If you feel like the $145 price for a stock hair piece is too high, this is just another option available to you.
Q: Can any hair piece be recycled?
A: Absolutely not. We are very particular about the hair pieces we recycle. While we strongly encourage everyone to consider recycling their old hair systems, on the same note, we can't guarantee we will be able to recycle it. Hair pieces that have suffered irreparable damage, have severe color fading or are too dirty to be fully sterilized and restored will not qualify for the recycling program.
Q: Why do other hair replacement companies try to use your recycling program against you?
A: First of all, they know that we aren't afraid to devulge industry secrets - particularly that most hair pieces can easily be repaired for an extremely reasonable price. Our competitors don't want to repair your hair piece, they want to sell you as many brand new hair pieces as possible.
Q: Isn't it kind of gross to wear someone else's old hair piece?
A: Our competitors will try to make you think that somehow wearing someone else's used hair piece is disgusting. Consider this - the type of hair most commonly used in hair systems is HUMAN HAIR. This means, that for anyone wearing a system with human hair, the hair was originally on someone else's head at some point. Does this make it disgusting to wear a human hair system? Of course not! You probably never even thought about it before because human hair that goes into hair systems is fully sterilized, cleaned and considered to be brand new when it is added to a hair piece. When we recycle an old hair piece, we completely sterilize it. We clean the base rigorously using a series of high powered cleaning solutions, and if we cannot get it completely clean we absolutely will not resell the system. Our hair goes through the same treatment - it is fully sterilized and cleaned, just as it is when a brand new hair system is made. A recycled hair piece, when ready to be sold will be no less sanitary than any other hair piece you would buy from us or anywhere else.
